17 April 2016, SAIF Zone, UAE – Delta Food Industries FZC held a mass medical checkup this morning at the company’s premises. The activity was part of the company’s holistic approach to addressing the workers’ health needs and well-being.
Over 150 workers from the Dairy Factory and Tomato Paste Production Line came to avail of the basic services provided by the staff of Prime Medical Center headed by Dr Jeena Jerin. Mr Sajan Bhatia and Mr Varun Yakhmi of First Gulf Bank (FGB) facilitated the activity with the benevolent support of Founder and Chairman of Delta Food, Mr Shiraz Osman and Mr Ali Parpinchi, the Managing Director, and COO.
The medical services provided were blood pressure monitoring, random blood sugar testing, and measurement of Body Mass Index (BMI). Those with elevated blood pressure and high sugar readings were advised to go to the clinic for further tests and full medical analysis.
