Gulfood exhibition is always fun with so many different products on display from all over the world. Varied merchandising strategies were used to attract visitors that will hopefully become customers. Delta Food raised the bar by offering a novel idea which even for many critics, was a staggering success!
Thinking Outside the Box
This year, Delta Food shunned the cliché by organizing a sports bar in the middle of Dairy Hall 2. Instead of the usual product exhibit, a pool table, a fooz table and an air hockey table graced the 80 square meter space. A mezzanine was added to serve as the conference area.
On the first day, early visitors were clearly struck at how a food and beverage exhibitor could pull off such an outrageous concept. Later in the day, people who love table games came in to play a set. The ambience of the stand was easy and friendly while serious buyers discussed business upstairs.
Pay it Forward
Delta Food started participating in the Gulfood exhibition in 2014. The company also participated in other international exhibitions and trade missions. The sports bar concept was dedicated to its loyal customers who have been buying from Delta since the company started in 2011.
Gulfood exhibition helped Delta Food by providing a prestigious venue to showcase the company’s growing product range. It is also a chance to show the global market how a fairly new food processing company can compete against the giant global brands and how it thrived despite the stiff competition.
