SIAL Paris Food Innovation Exhibition 2018
The leading food and beverage manufacturer in the UAE will once again grace the exhibition halls of the Salon International de l’Agroalimentaire (SIAL) in Paris. The event will be held in Nord Villepinte in France on the 21st of October 2018. The prestigious trade exhibition will run for five days.
More than 7,000 companies from over 100 countries will showcase their best ingredients, food innovations, food processing equipment, and new technologies. The displays are segregated into twenty-one sectors and four product categories, namely:
- Consumer Goods
- Food Ingredients
- Catering and Food Service
- Equipment and Technologies
2018 is Delta Food’s second time in SIAL Paris exhibition following the success of the company’s first entry in 2016. More commercial portals opened for DFI, particularly the West African market where Delta Royale Tomato Paste has clearly made its mark.
DFI’s current sales index showed a significant increase in revenues. The export of tomato paste, ketchup, evaporated milk, and sterilized cream in the West African region contributed to this gain.
This year, Delta Food is launching new products and innovative packaging from its state-of-the-art can factory. The facility boasts a multi-line-production-machinery that is capable of making over 30 million cans per month.
DFI is definitely one of the major players in the international marketplace. Its robust portfolio of fast-moving commercial goods and high-quality food packaging solutions further strengthens its position as a leading food and beverage manufacturer in the UAE.
Foodex Saudi Food and Drink Trade Exhibition 2018
Saudi Arabia’s major food and drinks trade show are now on its 6th edition and Delta Food is joining its list of select exhibitors for the first time. Delta Food is trading with five coastal countries of Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, and Saudi Arabia since its establishment in 2011.
Foodex Saudi will be held in Jeddah, the largest city in Makkah Province. This is where the largest port in the Red Sea is located servicing the majority of the Middle East’s trading businesses. The city received about 25 million visitors in previous years, about 17 million were religious tourists going to the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah.
Over 200 exhibitors from 35 participating countries and over 8,000 guests from the food and beverage industry are expected to visit the show this year.
Delta Food exports to these countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The demand for DFI’s evaporated milk, sterilized cream, and tomato paste in private labels grew considerably since 2016 and is growing steadily. The unprecedented growth in the company’s operation prompted the Directors to expand its infrastructure and production capabilities while promoting its portfolio in international trade exhibitions like Foodex Saudi. More trade opportunities in the GCC region are expected to open for the leading food and beverage manufacturer in the UAE.
